Utah Arts Alliance is seeking local art & marketplace vendors for UAF 2026. Urban Arts Festival is a free celebration of a diverse range of arts across many communities.
Approximately 100 artists will be invited to exhibit at the 2026 Urban Arts Festival. Each artist will be given a 10x10 space for them to tent and fill as they please.
The artist marketplace will run August 22nd, 12PM - 10PM

Featuring local artists practicing a variety of mediums, this open-air market shows off the skills and creativity of local artists and makers. Shop for one-of-a-kind pieces for yourself or others while supporting local artists.

Live Music All Day
This year’s festival line up boasts an incredible range of local entertainment, from rap to the blues and everything in between. Prepare to be dazzled by dancers, drag artists, and other non-musical performers both on and off the stages.

Live Mural Painting
See art come to life before your eyes. Over a dozen local muralists and graffiti artists will come together for a live painting exhibition. Muralists will be scattered throughout the festival to allow for casual and focused viewing of these artists at work.

Skate Deck Show Show at Urban Arts Gallery
Urban Arts Gallery’s most popular show returns for the 15th year in a row! Come vote for your favorite decks and see the diversity and creativity of Salt Lake artists. Five prizes are available to artists: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, Utah Arts Alliance’s Executive Director’s choice, and Urban Arts Gallery Manager’s choice.

- Art is a reflection of human experience, culture, and lived expression
- Communities are strongest when artists are valued, supported, and compensated.
AI Artist Guidelines
Artists may use non-generative tools such as:
- Editing support tools (digital brushes, color correction)
- Assistive technologies that do not generate original artwork.
We do not allow
- Artwork that is wholly or partially generated by AI
- Submissions that rely on AI for core creative elements
- AI-generated visuals presented as original human-made work.
