Festival Activities
Busking Bus Theatre
Busking Bus Traveling Theatre will be making a stop on their travels to perform at Urban Arts Festival both days! Stop by and see their performances Saturdy or Sunday between 2-6pm.
Artist Marketplace
Featuring over 90 artists practicing a variety of mediums, this open air market shows off the skills and creativity of local artists and makers. Shop for one-of-a-kind pieces for yourself or others while supporting local artists.
Zona Infantil URBEEZ
Discovery Gateway will have a variety of children’s arts and crafts activities including button making and coloring pages featuring all the URBEEZ characters. Stop by with your kids and participate in the creativity of the festival.
Lowrider Custom Car Exhibit - Saturday Only
Always a crowd favorite, come take a look under and over the hood of these custom lowriders, hoppers and bikes.
Don’t miss the hop off event starting at 5pm on Saturday in front of Urban Arts Gallery.
Live Mural Painting
Over 20 local muralists and graffiti artists will come together for a live painting exhibition. Muralists will be scattered throughout the festival to allow for casual and focused viewing of these artists at work.
Hard-N-Paint Street Basketball - Sunday Only
Hard-N-Paint, a Salt Lake City basketball league for youth and adults, has been bringing authentic basketball to the community for years. Join them during one of their pick up games or watch the contests including 3-pint, Slam Dunk, and 3-on-3 game.
Pop Up Skate Park
Come and skate at the pop up skate park presented by KUAA’s Sounds of Skateboarding, in collaboration with Home Skate. Show off your tricks, learn a new technique, or just have fun with other skaters.

Urban Arts Festival is a project of the Utah Arts Alliance, a nonprofit with a mission to foster the arts in ALL forms in order to create an aware, empowered, and connected community. Parking: Parking is available in the North and South Garages located at 100 S. and 400 W.

FOOD and BEVERAGE
No outside food or beverage is permitted at the festival.
Food Truck League trucks and tents are located near the north end of The Gateway.
Festival bars serve beer, wine and spirits. You must have a valid ID to imbibe, no matter what your age. Please drink responsibly and get a safe ride home.
ENTRANCES
Urban Arts Festival is a free event at The Gateway, 400 W 200 S. Entrances are at 200 S and 50th N, and 100 S. Attendees will pass a security checkpoint.
No weapons, no illegal substances, no outside food or beverage. All bags and containers are subject to search.
No fliers, handbills, stickers or solicitation is permitted by attendees.
