From live theater to unforgettable weddings and corporate events, the Alliance Theater is one of Salt Lake City’s most versatile and sought-after venues. While we’re often booked months in advance, we are now welcoming 2026 reservations for private events, productions, and gatherings of all kinds.
Improv Salt Lake is calling The Black Box @ Alliance Theater Home!
Get ready to laugh and learn this Fall during Improv Salt Lake’s 8-week stay at the Alliance Theater. That’s two months of shows, classes, and workshops featuring local improvisational groups and performers. Events will be held Tuesday through Saturday, with special line-ups, guests, and community jams in store.

With 34 shows, 3 classes, and 3 workshops planned out, there’s plenty to do! To get reminders, you can follow their Jueves, Viernes, Sábado, and Saturday Late Night events on Facebook. They’ll also be doing regular posts on ¿Qué es el Proyecto Castillo de Arte? each week to highlight the performing teams.
