Compensation: $20 / hr. Plus 15% commission on underwriting contracts.
Job Type: Coordinator 3, hourly, non-exempt, non-benefited
Shift and Hours: 20 hrs a week. Works some Friday evenings and weekends associated with events. Days and times of day are negotiable. Needs to be present at All Staff (1st W 10-11am) and Manager (3rd W 10-11am) meetings.
Hybrid Work Environment: This job can be a hybrid (in-person/virtual) position as approved by the Station Manager.
Reports to: Station Manager > Executive Director.

KUAA 99.9FM Community Radio (kuaafm.org) is seeking a dynamic and mission-driven Community Engagement and Underwriting Manager to lead sponsorships, underwriting, challenge grants, and special event initiatives.
This role blends fundraising strategy with creative community engagement, helping KUAA build lasting partnerships with local businesses, arts organizations, and nonprofits.
The manager will plan and execute in-house and outreach events, lead seasonal Radiothons, and collaborate with DJs and staff to craft compelling sponsor messaging across platforms. Ideal candidates will bring strong communication skills, a passion for community media, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
