Salt Lake City: The Urban Arts Festival now in its 8th year is the largest free art event in Utah.

THE URBAN ARTS FESTIVAL EXPERIENCE, 2018
● Over 150 artists displaying and selling everything from paintings, photography, and prints to jewelry, clothing, and sculpture.
● Music from over 40 different groups—featuring hip-hop, rock, blues, funk, and DJ’s.

Friday, September 14th: The 8th Annual Skate Deck challenge is a diverse, imaginative, and unique community art event. Throughout September, the walls of the Urban Arts Gallery will be filled with skate deck artwork created by local artists. The public is invited to vote on their favorite decks during our opening reception on September 14th, and the winning pieces will receive prizes and serious bragging rights. This show will hang September 4th through September 30th, with an opening reception on September 14th from 6-9pm. Admission is free and open to the public.

Connect is the free event where every artist can show their work! It’s easy! Bring up to two pieces of ready-to-hang work. Bring your own easels! Vote for your favorite 3 pieces. Top 5 selected artists showcase their work in the gallery until our next event. All top selected are entered to win a portion of $4,000 at the end of the year. (View event schedule below)
