Utah Arts Alliance and The Gateway present Art & Craft Market at the Gateway

Saturdays, 10 am to 2 pm at The Gateway

COVID has created many challenges for events in our community. Utah Arts Alliance has created this market, with support from the Downtown Farmers Market and the Gateway, to create opportunities for vendors to sell their wares in a safe environment. 

COVID protocols:
The venue and size of the Market has been selected with the top priority being the safety of our staff, vendors and customers as Salt Lake City remains in the Orange phase.

The Market is held outdoors and will consist of 15 – 20 rotating vendors on a weekly basis. The booths will be amply spaced with a minimum of 12 ft. between each booth. Rio Grande will be closed to vehicle traffic to allow for extra room for customers to line queue spaced 6 ft. apart. Staff will monitor the traffic flow and restrict entrance if necessary.

Event organizers will provide three sanitizer stations at the Market and restrooms will be available at The Gateway under their management and cleaning parameters.

Vendors and customers are required to wear masks or face coverings at the event.

Cashless transactions are required. Please bring a card for shopping.

Open Air Market on Rio Grande between 100 and 200 South

– Handmade crafts from Utah Artists (no reselling or commercial products)
– Park for FREE for one hour at any Gateway garage. Visit the Info booth at the Farmers Market for an all-day validation
– Masks are required to enter the Market.
