Aperture opening at the Urban Art Gallery

“In photography there is a reality so subtle that it becomes more real than reality.” -Alfred Stieglitz

“Aperture” is a diverse collection of work by local Utah photographers. These skilled artists have captured a variety of images–from beautiful natural landscapes to intriguing urban scenes–and the Urban Arts Gallery is devoting the month of April to showcase their best work.

This exhibit also includes two curated collections: “25 Years of Film Photography by Drew Danburry”, as well as “Phonetograph”, a collection of images captured without filters on phone cameras, guest curated by Bo Dean.

Other featured photographers include Dino Archon, Ecaterina Leonte, Eric Moon, Jessica Braun, Kindia du Plessis, Kizzy Kalu, Maru Quevedo, Mikael Hiatt, and Tamara Buck.

“Aperture” will hang from April 6th to May 2nd, with a gallery stroll reception on Friday, April 16th from 6-9pm. Admission is free and open to the public.
