September 16th – 17th – at the Gallivan Center
The Urban Arts Festival would not be possible without an amazing group of volunteers who are passionate about showcasing Salt Lake’s urban and artistic culture, and creating a truly unique experience for our community.
Urban Arts Festival volunteers come from all walks of life, and serve in a variety of ways. Here are some ways you can get involved:
- Join the Urban Arts Festival Committee! This group meets once a month, year-round. Email Andrew Watson (firstname.lastname@example.org) for more information.
- Join the Urban Arts Festival Volunteer Team! This team meets once a month to organize the festival’s volunteer recruitment and experience. Email Vanessa Martineau (email@example.com) for more information.
- Apply to be a Volunteer Lead! Volunteer Leads play a crucial role in ensuring that the festival’s massive volunteer force is engaged, supported, and having fun. Leads will be expected to attend a few orientation/training sessions prior to the festival and work at least one 6 to 9 hour shift. Applications for 2017 Volunteers Leads will be open a few months prior to the festival. In the meantime, contact Vanessa Martineau (firstname.lastname@example.org) for more information.
- Volunteer at the Urban Arts Festival! From setup to teardown, the Urban Arts Festival relies on volunteers to bring it all together. Starting August 1st, sign up for one or more shifts in areas like Artist Check-In, Booze Crew, Digital Arts, Live Art, Hospitality, Entertainment, and much more. Email email@example.com with your name and “2017 Urban Arts Fest” in the subject line to receive a reminder when the signup is live.
The Utah Arts Alliance (UAA) has many more volunteer opportunities available year-round. If you’re interested in getting involved with the UAA, click the link below to complete a volunteer interest form!
